700 swap ?'s

Can you reinstall the factory bbl with irons to the correct position on a 700 if nothings been changed on the action? Also what would the cheapest way to change from a 223 bf to a 308 bf ? A used bolt?

The barrel will reinstall sights up if the action, or the bolt has not been altered in any way..
It will need to be tightened just to that point....
A used bolt is your best bet price wise....

+1 on this idea....a good gunsmith should be able to open up your .375 bolt face to .473 for you but the really nice and best way is the PT&G idea IMHO..the bolt dimensions and diameter can be ordered to fit your receiver really nicely for whatever type of shooting you plan to do with just the right clearances.
