700 Long action feed rails

Is there a difference in magnum and non magnum feed rails in a Rem 700 long action?

Yep , the mag rails are wider.

You can use a Wyatt's mag box if your using a mag reciever to build a non mag like a 30-06 , you just adjust the feed lips on the mag to fit the smaller case

What about the Detachable Magazine Long Actions. I'm assuming as long as you have the correct magazine the receiver will work for both magnum and non magnum cartridges. Is this a correct assumption?

I'd be lieing if i told you , i have actualy never seen the factory DM up close on the inside. I would assume that it works the same way that the AI mags do in that the lips of the mag are what hold the rounds in place and that the cutout for the mag would be the same from all the DM actions

BUT , you know what assumeing does for us
