700 bolt question

I have a 700 SA bolt that has been bushed to ppc boltface, and had the firing pin done. It is setup for a repeater, so it has a Sako extractor and the ejector appears to still be in the factory position. Right now it measures .453 ID . Would it be possible to have it opened back up to the .473 bolt face, or would that be a no no? Would the Sako extractor still work ? Seems like it would. Here's a few crappy pics.ppc bolt 001.JPG ppc bolt 004.JPG

Probably, the only issue I would see is the depth of the extractor.

The extractor, if properly installed, is .016 too deep radially. With a little filing it should work. I wouldn't guarantee it to be as reliable as it would be otherwise.

Open the bolt face up to .010" over case head diameter for the BR sized case heads and bevel the top of the extractor so that the case head doesn't hit on the end of the extractor when you push the bolt forward and you should be good to go. These custom actions that have universal bolt faces for the BR and PPC are pretty well sako extractors set to depth for the PPC and the bolt face opened up for the BR.
