With regards to freebore. Kinda depends if you like jumping/jamming. I shoot almost entirely jammed so a 150 FB is okay. A 200 would be about perfect for me.

H4831sc is just ever so slightly slower than RL23 in my testing. You will most likely be a few FPS slower than if you used Rl23 but I have no doubt, you will find a superbly accurate load.

RL23 is actually probably a hair too fast but I’ve had such good luck with it I don’t plan on changing.

Friend has his up and running at the moment, he is shooting H1000 and 184’s with HBN.

Still need a bit of fine tuning but there seem to be a wide accuracy node (like Ben’s) on 2900 tot 2910 with 6/10 of grain giving 10fps differences.

Shot it out at 1000 yesterday but conditions were not great. 4Moa shift in wind between shots left and right at a stage. Vertical held just over half moa. Will try some different seating depths next.

Been shooting it for a while and also shot 2 rifles chambered in 7SS it in the FCWC 2023. Same points as 2nd place and overall 5th after V Bulls so I can't complain about the cartridge at all. I have 2 barrels that have just short of 2000 Fclas competition rounds through them and they still shoot amazing. Will see where the accuracy starts to fail competition standard, at this stage hoping for around 2500 rounds. we do not have the luxury of just sinning off a barrel and replacing it in our Country, lots of licensing issues to get a new barrel so barrel life over here is a factor.
