7 out of 9

7 coyote removed out of 9 seen.
All spot n stalk and just a mouth call and sqeaker, a 1.5 mile walk about, overcast moon light, easy walking.
Longest shot was 420 yards across a wide open creek bottom land, we both saw it split south after the shot. Thing is I never saw it run all the way off as it's sloped up and flat on that side.
Pal said I hit 12 to 16" low when he had his thermal on it.
I said no way, I know I hit it, so I'm waking across to check. I'm very confident in my shooting on top of everything.
Pal was insistent I missed and it ran off and wer'e wasting time going after it.
We make it across the bottom land, I'm scanning and just walk in the direction I last saw it, well yup I find it flat out dead.
Lung hit so it was dead on the run off till he droppped.
Pal says, man you're right.
Course I am...hahaha
Last pic is a nasty looking male, shot driving back off the ranch property.
Was a great night.

Looks like you did the male a favor. Always enjoy your pictures and stories. Keep up the good shootin.

Setting in my reloading room cleaning bullets today. (We swage bullet for our Buffalo Rifles) I looked out and saw a coyote. Pulled my 223 and dropped her where she stood. 260 yards with 26 grs of Varget and a 55 gr Zmax..

Hard to argue with a poor spotter. Usually have to be proven to be wrong.
But to his credit, therm spotting is a whole nuther game!
Good job, keep nailing em!
