given a 7 mm Remington mag case I have found that blowing the shoulder out to 40 degrees can give more speed.was looking at bobby harts case.any thoughts on this.barrel length is I guess at 26 inchshe states that a 1500 grain bullet can do 3450 and a 168 about 3150 fps.

Yeah and burn the throat out and the first inch of rifling in 500 shots or less,for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Lots of powder to be burnt in s .284 bore, is it worth the need?
