7.62 x 51 brass reloaded to 308

I have a chance to buy a lot of 7.62 x 51 brass once fired pretty cheap, can I full length size it to 308 and run it through my M1A and AR10? Its not the greatest head stamp but most matches I shoot are lost brass matches anyway and I don't like giving up my LC brass.

Yes. A year or two ago, I resized 3000 LC for my various 308s, including my M1A and DPMS SASS.

This is a confusing question. 7.62X51 Nato brass has the exact same Outside Dimensions as a 308. In effect it is a 308. The last sentence is what is puzzleing me. LC Brass is 7.62X51 Brass and you don't want to loose your existing NATO Mil Spec brass?
I am Sorry, I am kinda confused on the scenario.

Hope all is well
Russel

When you run it through your 308 Win dies it will be 308 Win. For shooting in a M1A you need to set up the sizing die to maintain proper headspace. If the headspace is too long "slam fires" become a possibility. You'll also need to trim this military brass and likely decrimp the primer pockets.
