7-6.5 PRCW

I am conmdiering building a 7-6.5 PRCW for NRL Hunter Competion. I need to finalize the action lenth, Bottom Metal and DBM’s for this hybrid. Any recommendations would be appreciated!!

You can treat it like a 6.5 prc. Its slightly longer is all. You can run a mid length or long action. Short actions require a lighter bullet or you have to stuff the bullet down into the case.

I bet it'd work great in the Seekins PRC mags since they're 3.1ish long.

I built a 7 PRCW on a Bighorn Origin Long Action (3.715 magwell length). I use a 300 Win Mag Bob Sled for competition which feeds very smoothly. However, I have experienced difficulty feeding some of my shorter rounds (3.042) with an AICS 3.715 magazine for 300 Win Mag.
