Exactly but to be fair it'll play all the way up to low 3000s if I wanted to. But you know how it is, each powder has its fun place to be.

I am currently shooting a Shehane but shoot the 2820 node. Since Lapua is not making.284 brass for who knows how long I figured I would give the PRC a whirl. I picked up some 6.5 PRC (500 pieces),brass awhile ago. Should have bought more cuz no one has it now lol! I guess others are doing the same since it isn’t available.

Yeah that makes sense. I think the whole absence of any kind of Lapua 283 brass is going to accelerate people testing new cartridges for sure.

I'm three barrels into mine and they all have 900+ rounds with the highest around 1300 and they still hammer for me. I'm going to ride them out through the winter to see where they go. One of the two barrels I shot most of Nationals with a few weeks ago finished the last day at a couple rounds under 1000 rounds on it and I turned around and shot 3 days at the California State Championship and the waterline continued to stay tight and I finished with around 1240 rounds on it.
Lapua brass life has been amazing as expected. Shot most of mid-range with brass that was on it's 10th and 11th firing and zero issues.

Sorry no, with SWN coming up I've been busy a few more barrels into the mix so I haven't been putting any more rounds on the higher count barrels.

Shouldn't be any different than a 284 shehane
