What dies are you using for this round?

Also, what velocity might I expect from 180's and from the Berger 195's?

Thanks! Thought I might need a 300 sizer die, but didn't think I'd be able to seat with a 300 die.

What bushing for Winchester brass and what neck thickness do you turn to?

I had custom dies made which provided the right amount of sizing. But as Tom said prior, the 300WSM bushing dies will work.

I have run the 180 hybrids to 3050fps but found that the 180's shot well at 2980fps. I used both Winchester and Norma brass. For both, I turned the necks to about .0125" neck thickness and used a .308" bushing (if I remember correctly).

BTW - I had a custom seater made. Used a Wilson seater which worked great.

Call Forster at 815-493-6360 and they will fix you up. As Tom mentioned, you can use a standard 300WSM neck/shoulder bump die with the appropriate bushing. For the seating and full length sizing dies, they simply honed out their standard 270 WSM dies to the neck diameter I provided. Minimal extra cost beyond the cost of the dies themselves and the turnaround was fast. They are good folks.
