I have been shooting 180's and on my new barrel I'm going 8.5 again. Just wondering who's using what twist and if there's any specific reason why??? The 8-9 all work for 162's - 180's. Hoping to one day see the 195's.

When the 195's arrive, you will have the right twist already mounted! Mine are still in the packing, in the corner, awaiting that advent. Most of us use the 1 - 9 for the 180's. I will admit to having one 1 - 8.75, because I just could not stand it for Jim Murphy to use one now and then, and me not. (The reason I use the 1 - 9: Bryan Litz said to. )

Just like the shooters' dilemma over selecting an over-the-course .308 barrel...they came up with the 1 - 11 for those who could not make up their mind over a 1 - 10 or a 1 - 12!! Likewise the 1 - 8.75 for 7mm, you reckon ?? But, the 1 - 9 is pretty firm.
