The .300 WSM recoil is tough to manage on the rest. Technique becomes critical. A 7mm is much easier to shoot well.

I'm trying to develop a better sense of how recoil energy and recoil velocity affect gun handling ease. I'm not thinking that it is linear. I'm missing something and I'm trying to figure out what it is.
