7-08 lives!

I don't own a 7-08 but know that Winchester brass has been impossible to get for a while. I bought the last couple hundred in he state a couple years ago and sent them to a gun in Florida because they were so scarce. Well good news 7-08 fans; I just saw 2 new production Winchester 7-08 brass bags! They must have decided to make a run of it. So time to start looking again if youve been wanting some.

Now if only Remington or Winchester would make 260 brass...

FYI, Lapua is making it now too. Lapua usually seems to be available.

I know Lapua makes it. It can be made from their 260 and even 243 brass. I just know guys that like Winchester and it has been scarce.

yes! I have for years!.....Remington and Winchester brass sucks!....as a matter of business when I build a new rifle I first check to see if I can get Lapua brass!....

Lapua 7-08 brass seems a little short on room inside. I have always had god luck with WW brass in 7MM08. Debur flash holes and keep it annealed properly and it will shoot great and last long.

When I built my 7-08 hunting rifle I think I bought 500 WW cases, it will last me my lifetime in a hunting rig. (it is my favorite deer rifle)

I have a 7mm-08 hunting rifle and the Lapua brass I use is OK.

Go ahead and call me stupid because I prefer Win brass, even tho some sorting and the odd culling is necessary with the Winchester brass.

My Winchester 308w brass can vary in weight as much as 6gr+ with different lots, but after 20+ near max loadings, it feels like it will last at least 20 more (with annealing every 5 loads).

I have 3 different lots of Winchester 243w brass with a bunch of factory once fired thrown in, and the whole pile varies in weight only 2.2gr !!!

Mind you I also have Lapua 243w and 308w brass, yet I still prefer Winchester.

Now, I just hope Winchester ships some of the 7mm08 brass up here to Canada.
