6XC sizing die

Ran into alittle trouble today with my 6XC sizing die. After a single firing/forming through my T2K, I find that the brass simply will not fully enter the die. It stops with a thud where the die bottom comes in contact with the case,.4" up from the base). Apparently my chamber is alittle bigger or my die alittle tighter than needed for compatibility with each other. So I tried an unfired case in the die. Same thing. If I beat that case in there, it'll never come back out, & would likely damage my Harrel press.
I used a moderate load, and only see .001 growth at the webs. Velocities were right on the money as predicted by QuickLoad.
All I really need right now is neck sizing, so I just used my 6br Wilson NS die & arbor press, which actually worked really well).
Was kinda wonderin if anyone else has run into this before calling about it.

Mikecr,
What are you using for a case lube?? When I fist got my die set from SSS I ruined about 3 cases, I got them stuck in the die. I literly pulled the base off the case trying to get it out.

I had always used the Dillon lube with all my other dies an had very good luck with it for years. I lubed the cases as I always did an had nothing but trouble. I could tell going in they were way to tight. After the 3rd case being stuck in my die I went back an doubled the amount of lube on the cases an that solved my problem.

Now I spray them down like I normaly would an then give them another shot. This has resulted in no stuck cases an no more problems. You might try more lube with the 6XC dies, hope thats all it is with yours.

Well, I found that the die has a problem at the bushing land. The case never quite get's in the bushing before shoulder contact/wedging at the land. That's not suppose to happen.
Sent it off to JLC for repair.
Just my luck!
