6XC Question? ???

I have be shooting in some steel matches and do petty good with my 6 Dasher, I am shooting 105VLD'S but the problem is the round won't feed good out of a mag, I have been tossing the idea around about having my 6mm 8 twist punched out to the 6XC. We shoot out to 1,100yds.

The question is would the XC feed out of a detachable mag or would I be better off with another chambering? ? And why? ?

I am open to other calibers but was trying to use what I have. My barrel is like new with only 300 rounds down the tube.

What are you guys shooting? ??

There are the 6x47Lapua and the 6Creedmoor on either side of the XC.

The 6XC will feed fine from 5rd and 10rd AI mags. I've fired a couple thousand rounds of XC from a mag.

The 6x47L is also a great one and brass is a little easier to find. I own both the XC and the X47 and cant find anything bad about either of them.
