The detailed study still stands... I tested the Peterson 6XC small primer case this AM with 32 gr H4350 and a 115. Freezing temperatures yielded ignition with Rem small primers. Wolf magnum small primers didnt fare as well.. 1 Hang fire and 2 that DIDNT even go off... will still be offering a small primer version of the 6XC in the near future because that is what many think they need.What happened to "A detailed study of large and small rifle primers showed that large rifle primers worked best when the propellant charge exceeds 35 grains as is the case with the 6XC"
