6XC Norma brass is shipping

SSS received a large shipment of Norma 6XC brass. The employees are filling backorders as fast as they can,60000 pieces went out today).

The brass is very uniform in all areas. It is priced at $.49 each,compared to 6.5x47 at around $.60+).

I know this 6XC brass mfg dilemna has definately plague SSS and no matter what the best efforts on our part it is a thorn in our as well as many others side. Hopefully we are over that.

SSS will soon resume loading 6XC with the 115 DTAC if there is any interest here,SSS has sold thousands to the Spec-Tac-Lr Series buyers with alot of "boy does it shoot results").

Norma is loading the 6XC in Europe and has already attained excellent results in the 300 meter foray .

In Norma's testing this brass will stand over 70000 psi before letting go of the primer so it should fit most any handloader's criteria.

Glad to hear you got your brass in and now maybe the thorn as you call it in your side will heal and things move forward.
Speaking of healing...... I hope you have a speedy recovery over your setback we all have heard about and you get back to 100%.

Ordered my 300 pieces last Friday, 08/04/2006. Got my shipment today at 1600 hours. They look great. Hope to get to the range here in the next week. Keep you posted.

All,

Ordered my Norma 6XC brass last Friday and got it yesterday. Wt. is in the 157-158 gr per piece.

Primer pockets look good with no burr on the flash holes.

I did measure the base of the case and they came up .468" Most of my Rem and 1st Gen Tubb brass is right around .465". Don't know if that different dimension will be an issue.
