6XC Max Loads with 105 Berger

Having poured over the available threads on this combination, can anyone provide me with max loads for H4831SC, RL-17, RL-16, Imr 4350, and Imr 4895.

Thanks

Could you please provide starting loads then. I figured with Max loads then I could determine starting loads myself. The dilemma is that with the powders I asked about, is everyone seems to use them, but there is no published data for them.

Thank you. I currently shoot H4350, but I have less than 1 pound left. I also have a good load with Accurate 4350, but was looking for something else more available.

I personally think the 17,4350's will max around 40.5grs. but your rifle may hit max before or after depending on chamber, brass, barrel length, temp, ect ect.. I don't know about the 4831's....RL26 is between 43.5 and 45.0 gr max..
So start at 37.0 and work up is good advise or 38.0 and up.

Accurate 4350 is a little slower than the H version. It's also a little faster than H-4831. Start at 36 and work up. My rifle likes 40.5 of Accurate 4350 with the 105 - 108 gr Bullets.

I have the Berger Manual, and one thing that surprised me is that in the 6XC, the most commonly used powders don't seem to be represented (4350, 4831...)

Not a big fan of the Berger Reloading book, it lacks info on several cartridges, 6XC, 6.5-284 for starters.. you are right, it doesn't represent the powders that are producing the best accuracy with.
I'm sure they use a program that generates burn rate and a formula. Don't know for sure, but sure is frustrating arguing with folks that a given load is well known to shoot very well and they refer to Berger Book like the Bible and say it's not in here and can't be good..geezzz. lol

The 6 XC load data will be available after the cartridge gets SSAMI approval. If you cant find load data in the manual. Contact us at techsupport@bergerbullets.com. We can help.
