6xc load data ?

got a 6xc been playing with different powders some loads i got here awhile back , anyone using Varget ? also i read on another site that load data for 6MM 250 should be close is that statement accurate. i have used 4350H, 8208 and just started looking at varget . any ideas where to start . thanks in advance . mike

Used 36 gr Varget with 105 Hybrid. Shot decent but had much better result from 39.6gr H4350 under 105's. Krieger 7.5 twist

38.2 H4350, also re 16 is close at 39.2. Krieger 7.5, 30". Your mileage may vary.

Should add to above post, using 105 vld's from Precision Ballistics and Jlk's. Sierra 107 close second choice.

If you're shooting an 8 twist and bullets 95gr and heavier stick with H4350, R16, R17, IMR4350. Varget and 8208 might do well with light weight bullets and a 12 twist.(??)

As far as comparing the 6-250 and the xc, the xc has more powder capacity. There should be no shortage of load data for the xc on this site alone. You'll like the 6xc. WD

Thanks to all . just got done loading 4350 h and reloader 17 . ladder loads from 37.0 to 39 grs. i had rifle shooting 8208 very well shot 1.800 5shot group at 600 yd IBS shoot . but groups varied badly . so i will give these loads offered here a try . thanks again mike .P.S 8 twist bartlein .308 lapau brass reworked .
