6X47L Loads

I'm new to the 6x47L load and was wondering what powder everyone likes to use? Have some 115 dtac's and 105 bergers.

All loads are using Berger 105 VLD's and Wolf small rifle magnum primers out of a Bartlien 28" barrel.

RL17 38.6 grs@ 3080 fps
H4350 40.2 grs@ 3100 fps
IMR 4007ssc 39.3grs@ 3090 fps

All of these loads are well below max in my rifle but as always work up slowly. So far all three powders are very close in terms of accuracy and velocity.

Just got back from shooting and i'm very pleased with what I found. I loaded 107 macthkings and 115 dtac's started both @ 36grn of rl-17 and worked up to 38.5 and they shot great. I had a group at 200 all 5 shots were touching. I satisfied considering I was sighting the gun in at the same time.

DTAC 115's - I've been tryinng out different loads at Bisley over the summer, mainly on the 1200 yard range and settled with 2954 fps x 38.4 gr RL17 with a 20 thou jump.

Grabbed an additional 100 fps as a second accuracy node (41gr H4350) but only tried Berger's 115 tips and they performed best with 10 thou jam!

I have found H4350 slightly more accurate than Re17 in my 6x47 using 105 grain hunting bullets. I also tried H414 with 85 grain bullets with excellent luck. Tom
