6x47L and N-160

Full of questions today. I want to try VV N-160 in my new barrel 6x47L, 27", 1:8 with 105gr Berger hybrids and Sierra 107gr MK. Ive dug everywhere and the only data Ive found is that the N-160 is about the same loading as H4350. Burn rate is supposedly nearly the same. Data seems about 2 grains faster than H4350. Just like to know a discrete starting load and potential max with those 2 bullets. Thanks.

Bullet 6,8 g / 105 gr Lapua, Scenar C.O.L. 69,0 mm / 2.717 inch

From VV Data. The 6 XC and the 6x47L are very close to each other

I use 41.0 of N-160 in my 6x47L behind 115 DTAC jumped 20 and wolf small rifle mag. The speed is 3020 out my Barnard in a 30" BRUX 1:8.
VV N-160 is number 135 on the burn rates chart so its a cool burning powder.

I tried N160 with 103g in a 26 inch barrel, didn't group worth a crap.
Tried the old reliable RL16 and now shoots very small and get great FPS

Be very careful with the N150. I tried that in the beginning.
Thought I had a good starting point, was I wrong. Lucky I had my Magnetospeed on
first round was at 3300 fps WOW. That was the lowest powder weight I had loaded for my test.
Funny thing was, didn't see sticky bolt when ejecting the case.
I didn't shoot anymore and pulled the rest...
The case fill wasn't where I wanted to be with the N150.
It's a good powder, just start low.

I'm using N160 behind a 107SMK. Started at 38gns, went up to 41gns, best accuracy was at 40gns running at 2970fps. COAL is 2.705"

Hope that helps.
