6x47 w/87gr VLDs

I'm considering chambering a coyote calling rig in 6x47L in hopes of running 87gr VLDs. Planning to run a 23" barrel with a 7" Thunderbeast suppressor. Any ideas what velocity I can expect and possibly a starting load with Varget?

Just a SWAG but 3250 should be easy. I'm betting it has another 100+ potential w/o brkg a sweat.

Yep.
My 23" is crowding 3200 from an 87Vmax. An 87 VLD, having less bearing surface & seated out longer to increase usable capacity...should easily improve on what I'm gettin' from the Vmax...

In my 22" barrel w/10" twist I'm getting 3125 FPS with the 87 Gr. Berger VLD using what I consider a full load of Varget . For what its worth. I really like Varget in the 6X47 L. and that's what I found best with the 87 GR Berger. However, with the 87 Gr V-Max, H-4350 shot better...ie tighter groups..

On the Hodgdon website, they recommend 36.8 Grs Of Varget with the 85 Gr Hornady IB bullet which has a little more bearing surface than the 87 Gr Berger VLD. So, would think that somewhere around 35.5 Grs of Varget would be a safe place to start.....

I got scary pressure signs with Varget and 87's. Double-checked powder charges (pulled bullets) and none were near max. No idea why it happened but I ran away from that powder. Found H4350 and Ramshot Hunter to be sweethearts.
