6x47 laupa BR gun

OK, I found a Remington XH-100 receiver with a 6X47, 24" Varmint barrel.

First off I have never heard of a HX-100 (that is what is on the left side of the receiver.

I guess my question is I do have a custom 6mm Creed right now and was wondering is this a more accurate round than the 6mm Creed?

Some say it’s harder to tune than other calibers. I found mine tuned very easily. It will perform ballistically identical to a 6 Creedmoor, even being a kernel or two shy of it.

I've had 2 6x47 Lapua barrels, both 1-8 and both heavy Varmint 26". I have had many 5br Remington barrels, LV HV and in between, 1-10, 1-4, and 1-8, 22" to 26". I think the 6x47 Lapua is just as easy to tune loads as the BR, but the 6x47 will give me 200 to 300 fps more. Barrel life about the same if I push each of them as hard as the other. accuracy potential has been about the same with either one, with the biggest difference being in the particular barrel being used.

I'm about to have a HV 1-10 cut for the first time in 6x47 Lapua, only cutting this barrel for the Lapua because of the results I got with the two 1-8's. My results were that good.

what bullet do have in mind for the 10 twist?

Bib 95 grn. for 600 yard paper. His BT version of this bullet is nearly identical BC of the 105 Berger and the 108 Hottensein, in the 1-10 Twist it can be driven faster and hold it's accuracy.

But for Varmint use would use the new Berger 88 grn FB High BC bullets. I just picked up 500 of these and will start here for my long range Varmint use. I want to see how far out they will still open up on Ohio Ground Hogs. I expect accuracy to rival the Randy's bullet, a tall order for sure.
