6x47 Lapua trim length?

Great info on all the 6x47L loads so thought I would post here. I am prepping my 6.5x47 Lapua brass necking down with a Forster FL die. I end up with a pretty consistant length of 1.845". Do I go with that length and start loading or have you guys been trimming before loading? What length should I use as a trim length? Thanks, TB

TB, I would wait until after fire forming to trim. I believe once you blow them out you will lose some length. Mine did anyway

Thanks Bill. What length do you shoot for if the length grows down the road? 1.850" is the max if I did my math right. Would you trim back to 1.845" or go right to 1.850". TB

You should really check the chamber for the correct length to trim to.....
Also best to trim them after they have been fired at least one time if they need trimmed at all.......
