I have the Forster too>>>It is excellent! Now I have a little bit of a "tip" that I stumbled upon.. I got some BRAND NEW 6.5 x 47 brass, turned it, then ran it into my 6-x 47 die>>>it left a tiny "bump" in the neck, because the UNFIRED brass was a tad too short at the neck shoulder junction. I had several FIRED 6.5 x 47 brass pieces to use for load development and simply ran them into the 6-x 47 die>>PERFECT! So from henceforth, after I run this lot of brass out, I will get some new brass, prep it(including neck turning) then fireform them in my 6.5 x 47 THEN run the brass into the 6-X 47 die. This is my first "stab" at necking down>>>I have necked up>>but not down.. If anyone has a better procedure, I would like to know it, as fireforming in a 6.5 x 47 chamber first seems a bit of a diversion of sorts. However, I could use the new brass in my 6.5 x 47 and shoot a competition with my match load and have the once fired brass that makes the 6-x 47 perfect! Thoughts anyone??
