6x47 lapua load data

Just built a rifle in 6x47 lapua with a 1 in 14 twist barrel, and was wondering if i could safely use load data from a 6mm 250 since case capacities are almost the same. I will be shooting 55 to 75 grain bullets, the data would be from the hodgdon website.

i was faced with the same when i got mine and did use the suggested data, but i had a lot of time on my hands(it was dead winter), so i did a search on this site for 6x47 lapua load data and found a lot of info from shooters who had already loaded for it. i made a chart with all bullets and various powders, etc. somewhat of a pita but other shooters had done the work and most loads worked. i tried some powders not listed and added to the list. my best load was 80 fowlers with rel 17, 43.3 gr in a 12 twist kreiger .020 into the lands. this is a max load and , as always, you should start lower and work up.

The new Berger manual has data for 6x47 Lapua.

Cool I was jw bc his build is the exact as mine same twist and bullet. Didn't know if anyone else had loads for it
