6x47 Lapua Load Data Help!

Good Morning, Yall.
Was wondering if anyone may have some load data, for the 6x47L other than that for the go to powder H4350?
I have two Rifles one on a BAT with a 30" barrel the other a PANDA with a 30" barrel.
I just cant find any H4350 down here in Louisiana or South west Mississippi.
Both Barrels are 8twist and I have 105 bergers, 107smks and 107noslers to try.
Appreciate any help and advice in advance.

Thanks Sam!

My go to load is,
Varget- 37.5
Berger 130gr target (.015 off lands)
CCI 450
Gun is old Hart action, 8 twist barrel no neck turn

Consistently shoots 1/4min or better no pressure signs.

The OP is loading for the 6x47, not the 6.5x47.

With a 29" barrel, I currently run 39.1g x RL17 x 115 DTAC (base too give 2.170") and obtain 3030fps plus great accuracy .

Also, 41.8 x RL17 x 88 FB Berger (base to ogive 2.162") and obtain 3,350fps. Brilliant round for fox, having taken 153 in the last two years.

The new IMR 4451 is another powder to consider. It's very close to H4350. I've been experimenting with it in a 6.5x47L. I'm going to try it in a 600yd match this weekend. I will pass on more info, if it shoots well in competition.

Good Morning yall, Just wondering if anyone else has any more powder and load suggestions?
thanks.
and Ringostar how did the 4451 work out? I know you are shootiong the 6.5 X 47 but the information mught help.

again thanks yall.

The match didn't go well for me. I had a lot of unexplainable fliers. Winds were light but switchy. In the team match on Saturday I had odd fliers at times, but my final 10 shot string went 10-8x-10. So I know that the powder is accurate enough. I'm thinking that it's more the Amax bullets that I tried. I sorted them base to ogive not by weight. On Sunday I would hit 10's and x's then suddenly through an 8 without a wind change, I would give the same hold and be right back in the center. I have 140 hybrids and 142 smk to try next. I have another 600yd match this coming Sunday. I'm gonna shoot the 142 smk this time.

36.5 grains of Varget shoots very well in my rifle with a 105 Berger VLD. H4350 shoots the best, I would just keep looking around for H4350.

I've been recently working with a 6x47 using a 20" McGowen 7 twist barrel and 115 grain DTACs Looks like it is going to end at 35.8-36 grains of H4350 seated 10K off the lands. Velocity is unknow but it is shooting .250 MOA at 200 yards ( 1/2" or less) and shooting very well in this South Texas wind. Hope this helps.

I did a comparison test between H4350 and IMR 4451 at 200 yds today. This was with a 6.5x47L not a 6, but it was to compare the powders. I loaded equal weights of each powder from 40.4-41.2gn in .2 increments. The 4451 appears to be slightly lighter. It took a little more case capacity at equal weights. I loaded 142SMK bullets, the 41.0 and 41.2 loads of H4350 lightly crunched powder while seating. The 4451 loads crunched powder down to 40.6 gns. Now I shot round robin tests. I shot very slow to not build to much heat. I chose to shoot the H4350 loads first, I didn't want the 4451 loads to have the cooler barrel advantage in this test. It turned out that the best group for each load, also worked out to fairly equal powder volumes. I got a .575 group with 41.2gn of H4350, and did better with a .497 group with 40.8gn of 4451. Now granted this was measuring to the best I could with a dial caliper. Now this is the exact same load that worked best with the 140 Amax bullets. I believe that bullet irregularities caused my fliers this past weekend. Im going to try 4451 again this weekend in a 4 gun 600 match where I'm the defending F-class winner from last year. I hope this info is helpful.

H4831sc works. In a 26" barrel where 39.5 is the h4350 load I can run h4831sc at 42.3 in the accuracy node and match it up at 30 fps faster. Might be worth a try in a 30".

As always start back and work up. 3030 and 3062 are my velocities. 105 hvld

A little update here. I tried the IMR 4451 with 142 SMK bullets today. I figured out why I've been getting unexplainable fliers. My scope rail has been loosening up. The 4451 held great vertical, and I feel that it is a good alternative to H4350. On Friday we had temps jump up to mid 90's, so I went to the range to find out how my loads worked at higher temps. I had stiff bolt lift and slight ejector marks. We were upper 80's today with no issues, so if your shooting high temps find a load at least half grain lower than your H4350 loads.
