6x47 lapua and 6mm65x47 lapua chamber dimension

Seen a YouTube video from Eric cortina stating that he shoots a straight neck down 6mm65x47 lapua because the 6x47 lapua has different dimensions is this true?..
I just had JGS make a 6x47 lapua with a custom throat/leade for the 95grn Sierra matchking.
Does this mean" I can't use 6.5x47 lapua bushings dies to reload?....or some custom dies have to be made?..anyone, please illustrate me.

I do not understand your question. 6.5 bushings will surely not work on 6mm

Body dimensions? According to eric cortina"..
The body is different!.
So if the body dimension is different* a 6.5x47 lapua neck bushing die- will it work? In the 6x47?
Or am I missing something?
I am sure I heard correctly coming out his mouth*
Clearly stating that his 6mmx47 lapua is not a regular 6mmx47 lapua ,but a straight neckdown 6mm6.5x47 lapua!......please explain this to me!..

Or has the wording been miss understood by me?

Do you have a JGS reamer print of YOUR reamer, that you can post, so we can compare it to a 6.5X47 from JGS? I have the 6.5 reamer print that I can post. They should have sent you a print to approve before they made your reamer.
With information, maybe we can figure it out.

Sorry but I am new to the 6x47 lapua case..
Just seems to be a good idea, fun and it attracted me!.I have everything to do and finish my build...BUT the dies..and I dont want to purchase twice.

This is not exactly what you asked for. I use the same bushing die to load 6mm CM and the 6.5 CM.

Old navy, I get what your saying, 6creed is just a neckdown 6.5creed.. so the body dimension stays the same...
And that is what I thought on the 6mmx47 lapua* just a straight neckdown from the parent case" with no body dimension difference.

But from what I understood, I Eric's explanation of his PRS rifle which he clearly said ( this is actually a 6mm-6.5x47 lapua and not the 6x47 lapua cause he seen there is body dimension difference*..)

And I was under the impression that thee 6x47 lapua was a straight neckdown and nothing fancy.
Which I could use (for say) 6.5x47 lapua dies with the .269 or .270 bushings..and done ditty.

Now my head is going nuts..seems that I should neckdown some brass on my 6BR die, fire form and send to whidden for custom dies.

I went through this exercise with JGS, necking down to a 25x47L from a 6.5x47L reamer print. When it came down to needing a die, I sent Harrell's 3 fired cases plus explaining to them that this was a 6.5x47 case body except for sizing down the neck to 25 cal and they sent me a perfect die for my chamber.
I think you are overthinking this situation.

Added
The Harrell's die is the MUCH more simple, cheaper and much faster than sending it to Whidden

For sizing die purposes and looking at the case body dimensions, you should be good to go for your plan to use a 6.5x47L die and just change out the bushings for the smaller neck.
Minor differences in measurements at point B and F....body diameters. < .001 "
No difference in measurement at point Q....Base to shoulder
Measurement at point S is different.....base to neck/shoulder...because of your smaller neck diameter
No difference in measurement T.......Case OAL.

I am sorry for the late reply as I was out a county clay event ..just got home and will revise them reamer prints.
K Mart thanks for your input, it is much appreciated.
Much oblige to all that have helped. I must say" this is not my first wildcat!..since 98% of my rifles are Wildcats and Ackley's.
But this is first time that someone else would have tickled my head on a case that would seem to me" a straight forward and simple neckdown!.(easy, peasy).
Like I said all my stuff is here on hand to start the build ,just waiting on the ok from the (smith) to drop off.
In the meantime I will neck down some brass with 6BR die and MIC the case and recheck with both this reamer prints..
If anything changes , I will sure shine in.
On a side note" I also have a 6mmSLR which it takes a little more to reshape the case. But it creates some nasty doughnuts which has to be reamed and neck turn... this the reason for a straight neckdown 6.5x47 to 6x47 lapua.

Plus it gives me an excuse to build another rifle ;)
Know what I mean?.
Thanks fellas! God be with thee.
