6x47 5R Barrel

I see that most people reference a 4 grove Barrel for 6x47. Are there any issues with a 5R barrel? Moving to 6mm from 6.5.

I have never understood the reasoning for a 5 groove barrel other than they want people to by special tools to measure groove dimensions, most gunsmiths unless they by specialty tools you cant measure the groove dimensions on a barrel unless you slug it.
