As always start low and work up.

Is this because of the rim?............I had 100 rounds of NPA brass that I sized, trimmed, and primed. Not one of them would chamber............
a quick google turned this up.Is this because of the rim?

NPA Headstamp Brass 5.56mm
When in doubt, throw it out... NPA brass just went in the scrap bucket. So, I'm trimming some brass and then checking it visually and with a case gauge. The NPA brass doesn't want to go completely in the case gauge unlike every other headstamp in the mixed lot (LC, etc). It only goes up to the...www.northeastshooters.com
i have not vetted the info, but yes, known problem?
Have you tried a small base die on the problem brass? Thanks for the information. I discovered a problem, I had 100 rounds of NPA brass that I sized, trimmed, and primed. Not one of them would chamber. At first I thought I got bad dies. Then on a whim, I sized a couple of LC brass. They fit perfectly. So now I have 100 rounds of primed brass that is worthless. I am hesitant to try and push the primers out.
I necked them back to 223 and they chamber. So I can still use them.Have you tried a small base die on the problem brass?
This may be necessary if brass was fired in a different rifle than your own.
NPA brass. May make 300 BO rounds from them.Yes, was wondering what @Wacoplan had issue with............
No, the neck and shoulder was a problem. I ran them through my 223 sizer and they fit in my other AR. But may make 300bo from them.Is this because of the rim?
ThanksUse the 75gr data, start 1.5-2gr low and work up.
Same for the 69gr look at 68gr data and compare to 70gr data for minimum and max charge.
I built a 6x204 and love it, I had a reamer made to shoot the 95gr SMK, it shoots the 87gr VMAX also. I bought some 90gr tipped GameKings to try. I loaded some 70gr BadLands Bulldozer mono's in it and its a screamer, I'm going to try and get a speed goat with it this year. Its a 28" 1:8 Krieger Lt Palma.Might I suggest a 6x 47 or, better yet, a 6 x 47 AI?
Imagine you are aware of the benefits of an AI?
Of note, I built a 222 Magnum AI, but running my 223 AI reamer a little deep. I use 204 Ruger brass, neck up, and whack a prairie dog while fireforming.
