6X45 loads for Barnes 80TTSX

Wanting to try some of these but can't seem to find any load info. Been trying to contact Barnes for a week or so with no response. Anybody here got this info, would like to load to 2.260 OAL. Thanks for any help.

Look at 24.5 h335, this prints them about.700" @100 yd in my 20" 1/9 tw bbl., 2.280" col, around 2650fps in my Savage build.
Drives right through antelope out here.
Other loads with same bullet, 26.8g w748. 26g h335 ran em at 2800 fps, but the 24.5 load was better overall.

No luck there snert. FWIW, I started out with the Sierra 85 HPBT which gave good results. Then, this year worked with Nosler 90BT but have run out of bullets. Supposedly have a few on the way from Dowdle Sports in Memphis; we'll see. Then Mid-South turned up with some of the Barnes 80TTSX and they should get shipped this week, so trying to get some load info for them before they arrive. From reading about others loading the TTSX bullets, they are a bit different from other 80-90 grain bullets. Thanks again for any help.

Yes, 2800fps.
Over on the predator master site there is a handfull of pages on 6x45 load data you could glance over. Many of my loads are posted in that spot.

Got my Barnes 80TTSX bullets and loaded up some test loads based on 5spd's recommendations. My rifle is a little Sako A1 in a Brown Precision stock with a Brux 8 twist #3 barrel and Leupold VX-R 3-9X40. Don't know that I have ever worked up a load that was more illustrative than these groups. Was afraid that the barrel might have coppered up by the time I got to the 25.5 gr load so I put a few of my 90BT loads through it to see and they shot quite well so I guess there was no serious fouling. And BTW all loads are seated at 2.260 (mag lgth). Will load up some more at 24.5 and 25.0 to recheck these groups because I know one group doesn't necessarily tell the story but bullets are scarce so trying to get by with as little consumption as possible. I might add/ask one thing...
Is your dandy LOL’ Sako limited by the same OAL as an AR? I’d think you have quite a bit more length to maximize in a bolt gun? Heck I can get 2.450” to (AI magazine) feed from a model 7. Then, chamber freebore becomes the limiting factor to OAL...
Just sayin’, if ya got length in hand, use it! Not only will ya enjoy the extra capacity to maximize performance, you may also find bullets liking to shoot mo’ better-er when seated closer to the lands. Yes, even the TTSX!
5spd gave good advice, since I was a former moderator at that ‘other’ site & also one of the first members to have a 6x45 & share initial load data with the members there. As was/did member ‘venatic’, who’s a heck of a good guy & also had a 6x45 in ‘the beginning’...
Anyhoo, just suggesting if ya wanna do a bit more experimenting to shrink groups and maybe eek a few more FPS out of your 6x45, don’t hold yourself back to ‘mag length’. I’d do some measuring and see what your actual ‘touch length’ is with that 80TTSX. Betcha got at least a tenth in hand to play with, assuming even a modest freebore value..
FWIW, I load the 80TTSX to jump .015” in my 6x45AI (.050” FB) and get almost 2950 from a 22” Krieger. H335 rocks, H332 is even better (killer behind 87Vmax, too). The TTSX makes for a DANDY deer killer, that’s proven itself several times over for me. Haven’t recovered one yet, they blow right on thru vitals/ribs...

FWIW, I took a nice doe Tuesday morning with my 6 X 45 shooting 90gr Nos BT at about 100 yds. Was amazed that it completely knocked her over but then she got up and trotted into the woods before I could get another shot off. Found her about 20 yds into the woods; there was no exit wound. Trying for a high shoulder shot but hit a little farther rear than I had intended so it didn't incapacitate her on the spot. I will try the Barnes bullet on the next outing. Last year I did a nice high shoulder shot with 85 Sierra HPBT and it put that 6 pointer right down so I think all three of these bullets would be good choices, probably just echoing what others have said with the possible exception of the 90 BT.
I will double check the potential mag length in my Sako A1 to see if there is more usable room, would be nice.

Glad to hear loads are doing good for you.
I found that the 80, 85gr weights worked best overall on deer, goats, 55g super on coyote.
