6X45 in an AR15?

Anybody ever done this? How did it work out. Details please.

It's a 6mm/223 Rem. It's been done but it is not real popular because of dimensional issues,i.e. case is long for the 6mm bullets). Enough issues, I would not build one if a customer wanted it. O.K. for the small 6mm bullets, but not the 105-108 gr bullets.

6mmAR and 6mmAR 40 deg Imp is a better fit for an AR.

i did it and it worked great for 70grn BK's but you better ackely improve it, i didn't and regreted it you need all the case you can get

I've got one. I had Noveske do the pacnor barrel and contour it to the M16 A2 contour to keep light. Works nice and slick.
