6ppc with heavy bullets

Clarification needed on your data.

It seem to recall that you favor a little bullet "jump", even with the Berger 105 VLDs. Do you? How much?

I've always seated them to touch, or even jam, and have never tried any jump. But I was thinking of doing it this year for my 244 Ackley.

The 105vlds are seated into the lands 12 thousands.

The real surprise was how well the 95vlds shot when they are jumped 75 thousands,load to fit in the mags.) for rapid fire.

I think that most shooters who check groups with the bullets jumping are not testing with enough jump. One of my 6BR barrels shot smaller groups when the bullets were jumped 45 to 125 thousands.

Thanks for that. I thought that was what your numbers said but I wasn't sure.

I've never jumped them that far. I think I'll load up a few and see what happens.
