6ppc with 7 twist?

Anybody here shooting a 6ppc with a 1 in 7 twist? I have a Nesika pistol, neck size .272 and am trying to get some loads with 105-107-115gr bullets. I have a bunch of H322 and H4895, any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!

there is an ongoing thread at Specialty Pistols forum that pertains directly to what you're asking.

tonedaddy,

I have a 6BR encore 10 twist. H322 works great in Pistol length barrels. Look up 6BR data and back off 80%.

I hate unrelated answers as much as the next guy,
But I don't think too many folks are going to chime
In so.....

I shoot a 6 WOA 8 twist. Capacity wise they are
the same. I have had best luck with RL15 and
N-135. (I think 135 have to check)

4895 sounds about right but the 322 may be better
suited for the short barrel.

The Hodgdon website has some 6PPC rifle data up to 107gr bullets and some pistol data on the 6TCU up to 100gr bullets. I believe the 6TCU case capacity is close to the 6PPC. Maybe someone has some knowledge of 6TCU case capacity.

Both will work with 105 Hybrid 322 looks the best .But I need more information to help.
Barrel Length water capacity and over all length. I have a striker dasher I play with at 1000yd my barrel is 26''. Larry

The 6PPC is traditionally shot with a 1 in 13.5 Twist. Occasionally with a 1 in 14 or 1 in 15 or a gain twist somewhere in that range, using 65 to 68 grain custom made flat base or boat tail bullets.
