6PPC vs 6BR???

So, which one is the more accurate cartridge? The better cartridge?

The 6mm PPC or the 6mm BR?

Being a highpower shooter and a hunter, I really don't know much about the benchrest rifles/cartridges - I keep hearing good things about each of these cartridges though, and wonder which one might be best...

Thanks, Guy

Boy, this is going to be a good thread..

The PPC is the King of group shooting at 100 and 200 yards, every now and thin you will see another cartridge win at point blank bench rest group shooting but not often.

The BR is a superb 600 and 1000 yard cartridge, good barrel life, no recoil. Easy to load. The 6.5 is probably the King at 600 and 1000 yard competition, but it does so with half the barrel life of the little BR. If it is not too windy, I think the BR will shoot circles around the competition.

I shot with a friend last weekend in a 1000 x 5, he had 3000+ rounds on his BR and he was still shooting clean with high X counts.

You could not hit the ground with a 6.5X 284 with 3000 rounds down the pipe.
