Is your barrel new? If so, fire form 25 pieces of brass. Check out this set of videos....There is more than one way to get good results, Jack knows what he is doing.

The most important thing I have learned over the years is that Seating Depth is King!
for the PPC

If you don’t have it find a copy of Tony Boyer book study his method of finding seating depth

This is the basics. On one piece of target pale perform a test either in from just touch or back from full jam in .003 increments with three different powder charges a light medium and hot load at the different seating depths

good example and when you see a place like 2.615 that looks promising you can try in 001 either side of that to confirm things

I agree with Tim's seatng depth comment. Once I get a load worked up with powder/bullet combo with a low SD, I work on seating depth. I know it's old school, but if you have a Wilson micrometer seating die and arbor press at the range it really makes it easy.
