6PPC and 6BR Reloading Equipment

What do you guys recommend as far as the equipment to reload these for a Newbie looking to get into the sport? What I am interested in getting input on is Brand and Model information and the pluses and minuses of them.

Please, I dont want to get into a Ford vs Chevy type argument on here I want to know your first hand experiences so I can learn something.

Thanks!

For my 6BR:

RCBS full length resizing die
Redding type S bushing neck sizing die
Wilson case neck expander
Wilson bullet seating die
Wilson case length gauge
K&M primer seater
Hornady OAL gauge
Hornady head space gauge
Lyman case care set
Lapua brass
CCI 400 primers
RCBS case turner
Varget powder
Bullets - depends on intended target
Don't have but recommend SINCLAIR STAINLESS ULTIMATE TRIMMER
16 inch mini lathe with milling attachments for when things go really bad ;)

I have both of those calibers. You very likely will need a neck turner for the PPC. I like the 21st Century Shooting "lathe" style turner. I used another brand previously and I did not care for it. For dies, I prefer to send Harrell's fired cases and have him make bushing style dies. I prefer Wilson bullet seating dies that are used in conjunction with an arbor press. I like that this method gives more feel for any low/high seating pressure. I use hand held primer installers for the same reason that one gets a better feel for seating the primers. You will also need to measure and adjust for shoulder bump. Harrell provides one with his die or if you choose anothe brand die, Sinclair can supply these. I use Sinclair bullet comparators to measure bullets for BTOG uniformity. You will need a good case neck micrometer (mine isn't the greatest, so I can't reccomend a brand). I uniform primer pockets with Sinclair equipment. Same for flash hole deburring and case neck chamfers. I use a Hornady gauge to find the bullet depth to the lands. Sinclair products again for measuring BTOG bullet seating depth. I use a Wilson case trimmer with all the extra mounting and calibration attachments. I anneal every firing with a Benchsource annealer. I use an RCBS Chargemaster, but weigh every charge on an electronic scale as a double check. The Chargemaster in and of itself does not meet my standards, but is faster and easier than my old Redding powder measure. There are better systems, but this works pretty well. Hope this gives you some ideas. If money were no object, the only thing I would change might be my charge weight system.
