6mmxc

I just purchased a 6mmxc 1 in 8 twist 30" barrel in a Remington 40X. I am having a hard time finding loading data. I have some 115 grain DTAC bullets and some 107 Sierra bullets. The bullets I am using are naked. What would be the maximum case length and trim length? I am also using the norma brass. Thanks in advance.

Good shooting,
Gen

Here's a good read on the 6XC -

and another -

Tubb wrote a few about the 6XC that included load data, but they haven't been maintained on his site. The one article listed there, 6XC Dies and Data" fails to load.

There's your link to the CIP drawings (in metric). Most people trim-to .01" less than maximum length.

I shoot a 6XC in competiton. 105 Bergers and H4350 do well for me (start around 37.5gr).

Thanks guys for all the info. I really appreciated it. I started out today with 41.5 grains of H4831, 20 thousandths off the lands with 115 grain DTAC

Good shooting,
Gene
