6mmXC and Reloader 16

No problem, Stomp, as nothing is needed except, your opinion,..I have an E-Mail in, to Sierra as to, the Bearing surface length of, the 95 grain TMK's and expect to hear from them, soon. I am hoping they aren't much longer than the Berger's. The Bearing surface length of, the 95 and 87 grain 6mm VLD Hunting Berger's ( .259-.281 ), is shorter than, the .305 Neck length of the 6XC cartridge, so it looks like the shortest Freebore reamer available, would work for those, OR, even Zero FB ? Curious about your thought's on, the accuracy ( group's, wind, etc. ) of the 95 TMK's if you ever get around to testing them, again. I think they should be fine at, 3,100-3,150 FPS with, a 1-9 or faster Twist, to 500-800 yards for my informal Steel Gong use. Sierra said the 1-8.7 twist would be "optimal" for the 95 TMK bullet and they said that, the other 80-90's would "work" OK, too. Berger Calc's say that, the 1-8.7 tw "works" good, for their 95-87's VLD Hunting bullets. I am hoping to use RL-16 or, N-160 for Powder.

In my experience, the 95 TMK shoots extremely well. I have only used them for break-in on the rifles I have built and in each and everyone 39.0gr of H4350 will print half moa groups. I don't know the velocity but that is pretty near max load in the Berger book I believe. I'm sure they would shoot fantastic if I ever put any effort into them.
