6mm to 30 cal.

I have some 6.5X47 Lapua brass that my brother wants me to make 30X47 with. This brass has previously been necked down to 6mm and fired. I have made him 30X47 from new 6.5X47. Only problem there was some donuts I had to remove. I have annealed the 6X47 brass. 21st Century sells two neck up expanders to get from 6mm to 30 cal. Do you think this two step process will work, and if so, would you recommend annealling again in between the two steps up? Thanks for your input!

FWIW I used 50 once fired .223 Lapua cases, annealed once, to form 7mmTCU cases in one step with no lost cases. Try one or two cases and see how it feels.

After necking 6BR up to 30BR, I'm confident the two-step you mention would work. As Watercam said, you could probably do it on one step. If I were doing it, I'd do two steps and anneal in between with no worries.
