I'm building an xtc/ prone gun in 6mmslr on a lr308. I'm using an x caliber barrel at 26" , but I have not machined it for the gas port yet.
I was thinking of a 14" gas system like hollinger uses on his rifles or a 12" standard rifle length system. My problem is that I can't find any target sizes for the gas port. What sizes would you guys recommend for both lengths.
