Who makes good quality 6mm rem brass

Winchester is probably your best bet, just weight sort and check necks for uneven thickness. Or buy Norma 7X57 Mauser brass and neck down to 6MM in 2 steps which is what I do. I have 2 6AI's and a standard 6MM hunting rifle.

I absolutly agree, just be prepared to do a lot of neck turning if you do use the RWS brass.

I run mine through a .243 and then a 6mm REM die .

Whos sells RWS 7X57 brass? I looked around about a year ago and could not find any.

I have just started forming my RWS 7x57. I ran it into a 6.5x284 die and then into a 6mm rem die.

3 step neck turn in order.

I live in Canada and the brass was tough to get. A local rifle builder ordered it directly from Germany I believe.

My chamber has a 273 neck, I had to turn 9.5 thou total diameter off the necks to get a loaded round down to 270.
I have had 8 firings out of a 6mm Crusader and the cases are still good. I think Norma is just as uniform but I hear stories of people losing primer pockets after 3 firings, as it's the same price as RWS here in the UK it was a no brainer.
I have also used Winchester brass and have been pleasantly surprised by it, it's had 6 firings and I have only lost one case.

AndyW, are you just forming into 6mm Rem or are you then fire forming into something else?

I never have used RWS but know it is GOOD,,,buttt have used lots of the latest Winchester and it is also good, win. has a lot of mil. spec work curently and is using brass that is perfect in my book.....they look terrible in the bag when u get em...like they were drug behind the UPS truk....hahah...but onece you get the wrinkles irond outa the neck they last-n-last....Roger
