6mm Rem/244 Reamer Print

Does anyone have 244 Remington aka 6mm Remington reamer prints that they are willing to share?

Im hoping for a no-turn factory tight neck and a short free bore for max 85gr or so conventional bullets. Looking to create a 1:10 twist coyote/woodchuck field varmint and hobby back yard target rifle.

Or, if anyone has neck diameter, and free bore that is applicable, that would be helpful too.

Have action and stock. Barrel not ordered yet.

Not interested in an AI at this point. Max distance will likely be 350 yards.

You're going to want to run a .276 or ,277 neck if using norma / Lapua x57 brass as a parent. .040 -.65 will work well for up to the 87 vmax

This is JGS 6 mm Remington SAAMI spec. reamer that I ordered back in 2020. Eventually I'm going too build myself a 8 twist hunting rifle. I have everything to do it I just haven't. Maybe someone on the forum can look at this print and help you make the adjustments you need for your application.

This reamer has more free bore than you need, but for me it is fine as it's going to be an 8-twist hunting rifle.

Thanks Gentlemen, I’ll stick with it and, with help, come up with appropriate dimensions.
Right now I’m looking at .276-.277 neck and .045-.065 free bore. SAAMI print is a very good reference.

Here is my reamer. I shortened the free bore like a .073" and I run the 107SMK.

The standard Saami reamer as has been pointed out has a long freebore. If your going to run lighter bullets... shorten up the throat some.

So could I ask who makes those reamers that you can rent from that website?

Can you call out your bushing/pilot size? I didn't see it as an option.

How many times has the tool been used and or has it ever been resharpened?

The drawings I clicked on for 6mm Rem. where not very clear and didn't see a lot of other information as well.
