6mm AI reamer specs

I'm getting ready to order a 6mm Rem Ackley reamer and I'm wondering what neck diameter I should go with? I want a no turn neck for use with brass formed from 7x57 Norma cases as well as regular Remington or Winchester 6mm brass. In addition to the 6mm AI remer, I'm thinking about a 6.5 reamer as well. Anyone done a 6.5/6mm AI reamer? I think this could be a bit better than the 260 AI.

Tightneck,I believe when I ordered mine Dave had .274 listed as a no turn dimension on his print, but I went with .268 since I do turn my necks.

I'm getting a short throat and will use a throating reamer to suit mine and others needs. I'm going to shoot 105's to 115's in a fast twist but some folks just like flat out speed....

I just received my 6mm A.I. reamer from Dave. I Had it made with a .270 neck for turn, with .000 free bore. I also ordered a .274 necking reamer for no turn. I already had a throating reamer.

Hey there Kampfeld, It's good to see another riflesmith join the fun on this site. I really like the fluting you do and have been meaning to send you a bolt, but hunting season is in the way now....BTW, have you heard anything else about the Shaw patent?

Thanks! As far as the Shaw patent, I'm not too worried about that. It looks like their patent date was 1999, and I'm pretty sure I can prove prior art back in 1998.
