Anyone had any experience? I know over bore barrel burner blah blah blah. I love 6mm’s and want to try this combo any thoughts?
Thanks John.
Thanks John.
Dusty I hope you're wrong because I am having a 6.5 PRC built. Now, if you will notice the OP's message he seems to be talking about a 6 MM version of the PRC which I have not seen anything about. Not sure your "eagle eye" caught that fact.I had to go do a search to find out what this is. And like the bulletin on accurate shooter that popped up i cant see the point either. Not enough gain over a creedmoor and short of the 284 based cases. Unless you just had a spare short magnum action but then you could use a saum and get better velocity. No need in it- no improvement so its destined to become a footnote

Sorry but I have to disagree. I shoot both 6 and 6.5 Creedmoor. The 6 Creedmoor is head and shoulders above the 6.5 especially at distances of 1,000 yards or more. My 6 Creedmoor needs only 6.6 Mil dial up for 1,000 yards from its 100 yard zero. My 6.5 Creed can't touch it.I look at the 6.5mm version as the same as the 6.5 version. Substitute 6saum or 6x284 or 6creed for 6.5 and its the same thing just a different bullet caliber. The way these wildcats are you can compare a 6creed to 6prc exactly the same way you say 6.5creed and 6.5prc.
