6mm Matchking seems to be pointed from the factory

Your looking at a 6mm 105 Sierra Matchking, Bart's 107 and a Berger 108 VLD. Was noticing that the Sierra already seems to come pointed from the factory eliminating an extra step of pointing the bullets yourself, not to mention the added expense of buying the bullet pointing dies. I'm able to back off to a little over 200 yards and the groups with all three bullets seem to be running a little under .5" for 5 and 10 shot groups. Was wondering if anyone has been using the Sierra at 600 and 1000yds. All loads are out of a 6 Dasher, using Varget and CCI 450 primers. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks. Gabe

I know a couple guys that are shooting the Berger 105 and the 107 Sierra at 1000 yards in the Dasher that are doing very well! In fact I'm going to try a Dasher this coming year, and plan on trying them both.

Hey jr600yd, what powder and seating depth are you running them with? I shoot 600yd F-Class and just got a Dasher.

I used 107s in both my daughter's and my 6BRs. They started pointing these, the 142s andI think the 155 Palma but don't hold me to the 155. They work very well to 1k. As to flatter, I leave my 600 and 1k dope on and I didn't notice a drastic difference, though sierra has raised the BC on the 142 from .595 to .626.
