6mm Highest BC ?

A 107 grain bullet with a I7 form factor of .90 should yield a G7 of .288. Hard to imagine getting a lower form in 6mm.

I would PM Bryan Litz about this one.

Im sure there are "theories", but building something practical that will yield decent velocities and not require a super tight twist is something entirely different.

Bullets made from a solid piece of copper and turned on a CNC lathe would be about the only way of besting the BC of other bullets on the market today. Of course they would probably cost 2-3 times as much money

Precision Ballistics LLC makes 125 g 6mm, I have shot his 108 g 6mm out of my 6mmBR to great effect, I have not shot the 125 g. I don't think the BC has been measured yet so it may not be 6mm bullet with the highest BC but I would guess it is.

On the page I linked the following is about the only mention of the 125 g bullets:
In case anyone wants to know the larges 6mm bullet I am able to build, this is it! This puppy is 125gr! I'll need $53/100 for these bad boys and you'll need at least a 7" twist rate to stabilize them.

Thats not too bad. $53 per 100 and only need a 7 twist. With a good size 6mm cartridge pushing them that might make for a really flat trajectory. Id imagine the BC is pretty high on those 125s.

Wouldn't bullets of this weight/length cause some really HIGH pressures, I'm not positive on this, I'm assuming.
