6mm GT loading tools part deux

So I ordered 50 pieces of Peterson brass, a Forester micrometer seater, and a Redding type S bushing FL seater. Last thing is to pull together a few small items. My question is Dillon makes two 6mm powder funnels. One for PPC and a more standard one. The 6 GT has a brass length of 1. 7ish inches. So I think the standard one is the one I need. Can someone confirm? Thanks!

That's where I would start. You should have plenty of flexibility with powder drop die body height to fine tune. Where is so new and niche, you'll have to try a few things yourself and let others know. The majority of people loading for a 6 GT will be doing so on a single stage, so you may be trail blazing.

Staball 6.5 works really well with the GT, I average 2950 with a 107 smk. My Redding competition powder throw drops it very consistently, it should work for a progressive loader.

Good luck!

The correct answer is to call Dillon to get the answer. They are extremely helpful and will have the information you need. Besides, you might have other questions while you're on the phone...;)

While shooting PRS, I shoot for velocity not barrel preservation. Cooler burning powders are great to care for barrel life but when competing, velocity and consistency are king in PRS. Replace your barrel as needed.

Currently, my 6GT/110 A-TIP burns a hotter load attaining about 3150. My barrel will be replaced at the end of this season.

Enjoy the game!
