6mm Dasher tight neck dia?

Hello All,

Wanting to order a 6mm Dasher tight neck reamer and given that
the Blue box brass is a little thinner what neck diameter would I
need to give full neck cleanup when neck turning the brass. I was
thinking maybe .266" or do I need to go smaller?

.011" wall will clean up the new brass just fine. I turned 80 pieces tonite at this thickness. I use these in a .268" chamber.

.266 is the # you want, many Williamsport shooters use that neck size. dogdude

.266 neck is what i use and it will clean up about 98% of the Blue Box brass. This gives me a neck thickness of .0102, chamber length should be 1.560..... if you need more info send me a PM......... jim

Are you guys saying order a reamer at .266 and turn brass to .2645?
Or are you turning brass to .266 and ordering a reamer to what?

Order reamer at .266 and turn brass to .263 loaded. That is .010 wall thickness.
