6mm Dasher Neck Sizing

I'm looking for a bushing neck sizing die for a 6mm Dasher. I don't think Redding makes one.

Any suggestions?

I don't own a Dasher but I would try a 6 MM BR bushing die and just back the die out a bit so you don't contact the shoulder.

Thanks, that's an idea but not sure I would be able to size the full neck.

I also thought of using a 243 Ackley Improved Redding bushing die and a shell holder extender. Both 40 degree shoulders. Has anyone done this?

Wilson makes a neck sizer.

I looked at my Redding 6BR bushing die. There is some taper at the top of the die but it does not appear to be shoulder shaped. I think it would size the neck on your Dasher just fine. However, if Wilson has a neck sizing die, then that is the direction that I would choose.

Thanks but I think that die is for use with an arbor press and I need one for ny Redding press. I know Redding makes a FL bushing die that's a possibility.

Send a few fired cases to Harrells and they will send you a FL bushing Dasher die. I think you will be more than satisfied with the way it minimally sizes your cases. What is the reason you want to neck size?

Redding does indeed make one, that I'm positive about due to the fact that I'm holding one in my hands right now. Unfortunately I couldn't locate one anywhere on the internet so I had to buy it directly from Redding. It was a little pricey compared to their other "off the shelf" neck sizing dies that they offer through their dealers, don't remember the exact price but it was well worth it. Unfortunately there isn't a part No. on the die but the engraving reads as follows "Redding 6 MM DASHER B / NK Q 6". You can reach them at 607-753-3331, hope that helps.
